Are you a 90’s kid? sorry to burst your bubble but you’re not a kid anymore. There’s one thing today’s children cannot experience even after having iphones and ipads and other istuff, and that’s 90’s cartoons we grew old with (on second thought, they actually can watch the cartoons on youtube or something but hey, that’s not my point). ‘Chhota Bheem’ has now taken over the today’s cartoon dynasty (seriously, who even watches that show?). We had super awesome electric guitar solo’s theme music of cartoons back in 90’s and now we have HERE. Try not to stab yourself.
SWAT KATS
‘Bahadur Bille’. Even if you weren’t a cat person, I bet you would remember watching this show. 2 cats with a badass jetplane fight against all other badass dragons, dwarfs, robots, 3 headed dogs, giant hydra, creepy huge plants. Okay, the plot sounds a little lame but trust me, this show made our childhood. Oh and hey, the theme music of swat kats is love.
Dexter’s Laboratory
“Ooooooooooooh Dexter, what does this button do?” *presses the button* *supernova*
A tiny genius who has a super massive secret laboratory and a super massive annoying sister (I can relate to the latter). One of my favorites from 90’s.
The Powerpuff Girls
“Sugar, spice, and everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girls. But Professor Utonium accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concotion – Chemical X. Thus, The Powerpuff Girls were born using their ultra-super powers Blossom,Bubbles and Buttercup have dedicated their lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil.”
We can all take a moment and thank Professor Utonium for his mistake of adding chemical X that shaped our childhood. Also, am I the only who thinks that Professor Utonium was in Samurai Jack as well? oh and hey I think it’s time they reveal the face of Mayor’s secretary. Seriously guys, just reveal the face so that I can live my life peacefully.
Recess
The show we can all relate to. We have all had a Miss Finster like teacher, cranky old woman who’s life mission is to ruin our school life. Randall like classmates, who reports every single thing to the Finster like teacher. And of course, the coolest gang in school. Please bring back Recess. Is that too much to ask for?
Tom & Jerry
Undoubtedly the funniest cartoon show of 90’s. We have all watched every single episode of Tom & Jerry at least 5 times. Two perfect arch-enemies who cannot live without each other. Oh, wasn’t our childhood beautiful?
The Flintstones
Story of a working-class stone age man’s life. I think I’m gonna rewatch this cartoon. Yabba Dabba Doo!
Johnny Bravo
“It says here that your hobbies are Women, Girls and Chicks.”
“And babes. Don’t forget babes.”
Johnny Bravo, teaching us how to pick-up girls since 90’s. He is the epitome of coolness. Damn, I miss this show.
Popeye, Aladdin, Gummy bears, Scooby Doo, Chip and dale, Captain Planet, Richie Rich, Ed Edd and Eddy, Courage the cowardly dog, Road Runner.
Oh, so many amazing cartoon shows. Our childhood was indeed special. Thank you, CartoonNetwork and Disney.
